Weekly Note 14.11.16

We’ve had another successful week and the children have really enjoyed learning about gruesome Tudor punishments and have got into the ‘Learning Pit’ whilst problem solving!

Here’s what’s happening this week:-

Numeracy: We will be exploring fractions.

Literacy: Children will be inventing their own Tudor punishment and will be writing an information text based on this.

History: Teams will be continuing with researching their chosen Tudor topic and presenting their findings to the whole class.

Tudor Day (25th November): is fast approaching. We have a fun day of activities planned and you will be invited to come in at 2pm and share our work in the afternoon. We desperately need some help with the workshops please as there are some cooking activities. Please let us know asap if you can help – even if it’s for an hour!

Gym: Children are really enjoying practising their Tudor dances and are looking forward to performing them on Tudor Day.  Feel free to practise the dances at home as the Tudor music will be available on the Blog.

Have a lovely weekend!

Many thanks,

Year 4 team
