What a fantastic effort everyone made in the Sponsored swim this week.  We were very impressed!

Here’s what’s coming up this week:-

Sponsored swim: A reminder that money collected should be handed in by Monday 2nd July. There will be no swimming for Miss Green’s class this week due to transition.

Numeracy: This will be our final week of Rainbow targets and times tables.

Literacy: We will be finishing our year four reports.

Art: We will continue looking at patterns based on the work of Goldsworthy and will have a go at some printing based on this.

Homework: We would love you to have a go at some Goldsworthy inspired art in the environment.  Use the ideas you have seen in class and take some photos to add to your Google Drive.

Magical Day in the Park:

Miss Golland and Miss Green are desperate for a helper to accompany them on their trip next week.

The children will need to bring their lunch to school as normal, we will have a snack in the park and return to school for lunch.  A reminder that children need a named water bottle, sunhat and should have applied suncream. Don’t forget to check the weather to see if a waterproof is needed!

Wednesday – Miss Green

Thursday – Mrs Dowding

Friday – Miss Golland

Transition:  The children will be telling the year 3s all about year 4 on Monday.  On Friday, they will have the opportunity to visit year 5 to find out all about next year.  Miss Golland’s class will visit year 5 at a later date.

The juniors will find out their class teachers on Monday 9th July.

Wow!  We can’t believe how quickly this year has gone!
