Year 4 Weekly Update 29-01-18

Year 4 Weekly Update for week beginning 29.01.18

Another fantastic week of learning! Wow! We were lucky enough to meet Guernsey’s up and coming sprint champion, Cameron Chalmers following his nomination as Channel Island Sports Personality of the Year, who joined us for our Daily Mile today. Inspiring!

The children have also shown great resilience this week with the Year 4 Marvellous Measures Challenge battling the elements and mud! Thank you for your family measuring homework-there was some super maths!

Here’s what’s coming next week:-

Numeracy: The children will be ‘acting it out’ to solve problems. They will also be starting a fractions unit to find fractions of quantities. Please click on the links for some activities to support their learning.
