Weekly Update for the week beginning 20th November

Year 4 Weekly Update for week beginning 20.11.17

Wow!  What a week!  We were extremely lucky to have an art expert who came to show us a Tudor portrait today.

We all learnt a lot about the painting and are hoping to put this knowledge into our own Tudor portraits next week.

We also started to look at a very famous Tudor portrait of Elizabeth I called the Armada Portrait.

PE: Please could children bring in OUTDOOR PE KIT on any PE day as the hall is now out of use for Nativity rehearsals.

Art: Having been inspired by our real live work of art and we will be making our own Tudor portraits, again if anyone is able to come in and help for these, please let us know.

Tudor day:  We are looking forward to seeing you all on Tudor Day on Monday 27th November.  We can’t wait to see the children in their Tudor costumes.  Please let us know if you are unable to get hold of one.
